I have a 2000 E320. Never heard it is a common problem.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say broken "writing," You can see that the temperature and watch the numbers, but apparently has not been completed? Number 8 looks like an e-mail or what? As if the missing numbers?
Try a little push on the same screen. If you are on the screen of "agreements" in number, at least for a moment, the screen is bad.
I know a simple solution.

ReplyDeleteYou can drag the toolbox Clock (gently pull at the same time on both sides, you may need a screwdriver to use their banks, but without damage to the edges and you can see if the bulb is behind does not work, what the most common reason for not properly be displayed. Before pulling out the dashboard behind the steering wheel and made the position easier to access the toolbox.

Cables can be poorly executed, and / or broken temperature sensor. the clock is an internal problem of the head unti. Go on eBay and buy a stock refurbished one, or only after purchase furnished. Although I am not sure if Mercedes-clock-unit independent radio head.

Sorry to say, but U need to buy an entirely new group. without bulb. Mercedes has made a mistake with it. it becomes your face. While there are PPL who can replace some parts, but traders say may need to shop.
